3. As mentioned above, Potra Law Firm may assist certain professionals obtain a work visa, H-1B. The H-1B visa may be obtained by highly skilled professionals who have attained a college degree or, absent a college degree, the individual applying for the H-1B visa, must have at least fifteen years of experience in a certain profession. In addition, the applicant must have a High School Diploma and/or advanced training. This temporary work visa is granted for a period of three years and it can be extended for three more years. In the meantime, if you desire to obtain a permanent residency in the U.S., Potra Law Firm will assist and guide you in that direction. The H-1B may be obtained through the normal processing system, which may take between sixty to ninety days. The Premium Processing track, however, gives the possibility to obtain the approval in less then fifteen days following the submission of the application.
