If you are a U.S. citizen, you can sponsor the following relatives for immigrant visas:
Spouses and children under the age of 21 of U.S. citizens are considered “Immediate Relatives,” and therefore, can immediately adjust status to that of Lawful Permanent Resident by filing Form I-485 with USCIS once they are the beneficiaries of an approved I-130.
